Director Reach Operations

KF is a 35-year telecommunications industry veteran with extensive knowledge and experience in a wide range of engineering and operational areas, including submarine cables, satellite services, network engineering, field operations, Network Operations Centers (NOCs), service provisioning, and customer services.  In his role as Director and COO of REACH, he has overall responsibility for REACH's operations.

KF has been with REACH since 2002, and has held senior management roles in various operation areas.

Prior to joining REACH, KF worked for Level 3 where he was the Regional Director responsible for establishing the REACH North Asia Loop (RNAL) Cable System including development of the Cable Landing Stations for RNAL.

Before joining Level 3, KF worked for Hong Kong Telecom and Cable & Wireless Hong Kong and has served as the Chairman of numerous consortium cable systems in the region and represented REACH and Hong Kong Telecom on many consortium cable working groups and sub-committees.

KF has a Bachelors degree (Hons) in Electronics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also a Chartered Engineer and member of the Institute of Engineering & Technology.
