Director of Operations

KF is a 27 year telecommunications industry veteran with extensive knowledge in a wide range of operational areas, including undersea cables, field operations, satellite services, Network Operations Centres (NOCs) and service provisioning. In his role as Director of Operations, he has overall responsibility for REACH’s global network operations as well as customer service management.

KF has been with REACH since 2002, and has held senior management roles in the satellite and space segment, customer service management and the operation of the REACH Network Operations Centres.

Prior to joining REACH, KF worked for Level 3 where he was instrumental in establishing the REACH North Asia Loop (RNAL) Cable System.

He has served as the Chairman of numerous consortium cable systems in the region and represented REACH and Hong Kong Telecom on many consortium cable working groups and sub-committees.

KF has a Bachelors degree (Hons) in Electronics from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also a Chartered Engineer and member of the Institute of Engineering & Technology.
